Franconian classics that simply bring joy
Since 1874, Weiherer beer has stood for genuine Franconian brewing artistry – down-to-earth, award-winning, and full of passion. Whether refreshing pilsner, malty lager, spicy cellar beer, or fruity wheat beer: our classic German beers are as diverse as their connoisseurs. Rooted in Franconian tradition yet cosmopolitan at the same time, the Kundmüllers brew with heart, skill, and responsibility for people and the environment. Discover beer culture as it should be - authentic, sustainable, and unmistakably Weiherer.
Weiherer Rauchbier
Weiherer Rauch, a multiple gold medal winner, impresses not only with its brilliant golden appearance but above all with its delicate, spicy notes of smoky malt. These notes are clearly recognizable in the aroma alone, but they truly reach their peak when tasted. Then the full, smooth, and never overpowering malt body emerges, enveloped in subtle hop notes. The hint of smoke lingers even after the last sip. A beer that will win over even those unfamiliar with smoky beers.
Weiherer Festbier - 150 years
150 years of Weiherer beer – that calls for a celebration! And what better way to celebrate than with the Weiherer Festbier, brewed especially for the occasion? It's a strong, golden, brilliantly clear beer made with Franconian malt, full-bodied in flavor, and hopped with Spalter Select. And: it already won a bronze medal at the World Beer Awards in its anniversary year!
Weiherer Weizen Hell
With its light, hazy amber color and pronounced banana notes, the aroma is sure to delight any wheat beer lover. The initial taste is fruity, but the soft brewing water is immediately noticeable, effortlessly coating the palate. The sweetness is by no means overpowering; on the contrary, Weiherer Weizen Hell acts as a refreshingly thirst-quenching energy booster, finishing with a mild and smooth aftertaste.
Weiherer Urstöffla
Robust, malty, and with a distinctive hop note. The fine, creamy, natural-colored head and the chestnut-hued color of this red ale hint at what awaits after the first sip. Bready, roasted malt aromas are embedded in an earthy body, underscored by a lingering, subtly bitter finish.
Weiherer Kräusen Hell
Awarded Best Kellerbier in the World at the 2024 World Beer Cup, Weiherer Kräusen Hell is a light, naturally cloudy Zwickelbier that is refined with young beer before bottling. The brewmaster refers to this process as "Kräusen." The result is a smooth and refreshing beer, just like you'd expect from Weiherer.
Weiherer Keller-Märzen
Brewed for the first time to celebrate its 140th anniversary, Weiherer Keller-Märzen is a tribute to liquid gold. Unfiltered, as it was in the brewery's founding year, Franconian malts (Pilsner, Melanoidin, and Cara Red) provide a full body and a bright amber color. Brewmaster Roland Kundmüller hopped it with his favorite hop, Spalter Select.
Weiherer Zwickerla Hell
Weiherer Zwickerla Hell is a golden, naturally cloudy Zwickelbier – brewed with brewmaster Roland Kundmüller's favorite hops, Franconian Spalter Select and Perle, as well as Pilsner malt and light caramel malt from the region. The delicate bottom-fermenting yeast notes are already noticeable on the nose and continue in the taste. These are complemented by hops and malt in beautiful harmony. With gentle carbonation and a touch of bitterness, the Zwickerla Hell finishes – and on the label: Senior boss Erwin after pitching the barrels...
Weiherer Lager Hell
Brewed with the power of the sun, golden in the glass. That's how Weiherer Lager Hell presents itself. The aroma is dominated by grainy malt notes, which continue in the first sip. These are soon joined by fresh hops, which make the beer a well-balanced lager. It finishes with a slightly bitter aftertaste, with lingering bitterness, but still with noticeable malt notes. The beer that suits every connoisseur.
Weiherer Pils
Awarded Best Pilsner in the World at the 2023 World Beer Awards, this is a typical Franconian Pilsner with a fresh yellow color and a creamy white, finely pored head. The grassy, green hop notes are immediately noticeable on the nose. The first sip is crisp and refreshing, immediately revealing the hops with a lovely fresh, slightly citrusy aroma. Weiherer Pils retains these notes until the very end, finishing with a pleasant, delicate bitterness. Typical. Franconian. Weiherer Pils.
Weiherer Landbier
A beer like our home. Golden like the sun, gentle like our hills, fine like our grain. Brewed with the best ingredients from Franconia and exclusively renewable energy. Weiherer Landbier pairs perfectly with the homemade specialties of the brewery inn. For our environment, for our home, for you.
Weiherer Bock
The bright Weiherer Bock shines a beautiful golden yellow in the glass. Its aroma is intensely malty with honey notes, an impression that continues on the palate. The malt sweetness is prominent, and the honey notes are also clearly discernible – a full body with typical Weiherer charm. A generous portion of hops rounds out this full-bodied bock beer, which, with its slightly warming effect, has already impressed the jury at the European Beer Star four times.
Pond Cellar
Malt lovers and hop enthusiasts alike will be delighted. Earthy, grainy malt notes are paired with fresh, slightly citrusy aromas, both of which intensify towards the finish. A beautiful body in an opalescent hue. Surprisingly refreshing for a Kellerbier and already a four-time European Beer Star winner.
Weiherer Kellerpils
Hops and malt from Franconia form the basis of this very special, slightly cloudy beer. The characteristic hoppy pilsner flavor is clearly recognizable, but the citrus notes take a backseat. Natural herbal aromas stand out, giving the beer its unique character.
Weiherer Zwickerla Dunkel
Following our Weiherer Zwickerla Hell, the dark version is now also available – amber-colored, unfiltered, with a firm, creamy head. Weiherer Zwickerla Dunkel is a beer for everyone who likes it naturally cloudy, malty, and easy to drink – a characterful Franconian dark beer.
